Well, after a very busy summer chock-a-block full of weddings & other events, the nights are drawing in - which can only mean one thing: winter is on the way!
BUT, lets not skip over our favourite season of the year! Autumn colours are beautiful and we genuinely love designing autumn themed weddings. Oranges, browns, reds - in all shades, make the most wonderful colour schemes.
From full-on Halloween themed events, through to more traditional affairs - we're always excited to assist! This weekend we are providing black chair covers with burnt orange sashes - stunning!

Wedding Season is here!!!
Summer is here, and with that lots of weddings!
The next few weeks are going to be very busy but as always, each wedding will be special and a lot of fun to setup! This week we have wedding at Glasgow Marriott, Dunfermline Conference Centre, Salutation Hotel (Perth), Dundas Castle, Balbirnie Castle, Dunbuck House Hotel (Dumbarton) as well as a huge Asian Wedding at the Glasgow Hilton!

Check out our facebook group!
We have started up a facebook fan page for Make Believe Events
Hopefully this will give our brides-to-be and events planners a chance to have a look at a gallery of photos that we will update with pictures after our events, allow a place for discussions and testimonials, and hopefully we can use the social networking site to become... well, a bit more sociable!
We try to offer our clients as much help and advice as possible and if they are after an item or service we cannot provide we try and direct them to someone who can help - hopefully by adding links to our facebook page it will help not only those asking the questions, but future clients as well!

Marriott Glasgow
We have done a number of events with the Marriott in Glasgow City Centre and have become their named chair cover and linen supplier!
We have done a mixture of colours - black, gold, pinks and reds, and we have some photos here of our white covers and black organza sashes. Black and White is a popular choice for many corporate dinners and weddings - it is sleek and sophisticated and the striking contrast of the colours really makes an impact.
We really love working with the fantastic staff at the Marriott who are always so welcoming and it seems they have a few nice words to say about us too!
